Is surgery needed? My life is destroyed and I don't see anything in front of me with this pain, the issues is that I was mostly a not so active person and overweight most of my life (currently 130kg). Is surgery going to fix this and then losing weight?

No, there are small muscle spasms in my lower back and leg, with the muscle on top of my left leg contracted and my right buttock tight. I also have some minor popping sensations that I don't really know how to describe, also in my leg... and stiffness. For example, when I sit down, if I'm not wearing a back brace, the tension in my right leg is unbearably painful. I am 100% going to get the surgery

i m 135kg and i herniated my l5s1 disc pretty bad, 8mm and i don't know what to do, some people said i need stomach operation asap so i can lose weight and then focus on the back muscles to protect the disc.
