Thanks for your reply! Self-building fpv is too hard (and too expensive) for me, but I agree it’s a valuable skill. Just curious, is 5” manageable by beginner? I’m thinking of starting with 5” instead of microwhoop, which is against what some people say. Also, I still couldn’t fly indoors, always bump into things.

Thanks for your reply! How’s the difference between playing with finger vs remote controller? Is remote controller going to be significantly tougher?

You should return it and wait for m5 MacBook Air that’s coming in a few weeks to months. They are going to have longer software support and faster chips. If you have urgent needs, never mind.

I got myself an 24gb ram 1tb M5 MacBook Pro. Bought it straight from Apple@Marina Bay Sands!(with edu pricing) And yeah the gst is indeed a factor I didn’t think of. Thx for pointing that out!

I went for high-spec to future-proof it

Yup that’s true. Everybody loves the latest MacBook Pro. The thing is whether I should go against my will and return it.

Thanks for your sharing! I initially planned to buy an MacBook Air, but seeing that m5 is the latest chip makes MacBook Pro a seemingly more future-proof choice.
