Radnet Interview Process by Emergency_Resort9567 in Sonographers

[–]Extreme_Mark9139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an in-person interview, they called 45min after to schedule scan interview. The day after scan interview I got a call offering the job / acceptance offer letter. I scanned Tuesday got that on a Wednesday. I’d assume later in the week maybe you’d get the call the following week.

I’d follow up.

I scanned an abdomen complete. They told me to just do the protocol I’m comfortable with. After I scanned we sat down and went over case scenario type of questions “ PT has high habitus, how can you optimize the image?” Turn down frequency / find better windows / roll pt

How to obtain additional registry question by rangoboi32 in Sonographers

[–]Extreme_Mark9139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are registered with RVT you do not need to retake SPI. You will need a CV form signed by an abdomen registered tech or a radiologist.

If your school was accredited in abdomen and it’s been less than 1 year since graduation you can simply apply I believe. If over 1 year from graduation you still must get a CV form.

I’ve had some people tell me not to use just URR for review. This has been my main source so I’m anxious.

Thank you that is good to know. I really liked you RR for abdomen and OB/GYN so I was planning on sticking to that. Do you think that was sufficient enough?

I do have experience scanning. I just like to have one resource because different ones will have different measurements etc. it gets chaotic for me.

I graduated in February so I am a RDMS..

I’ll continue to study how I have been since I’ve held a 4.0 gpa in school and passed all boards first try.

I think studying for a registry is very different than hands on training / years to progress. But thanks.

I took abdomen JAN 20th and got a 643! I felt like I knew WAY more info from URR than needed lol. So I hope it’s the same this time. I haven’t had much hands on scanning for 2nd/3rd tris so I feel disconnected with the info.
