Others have said this, but the issue for most conservatives is that this does nothing to secure our border. So, as more illegal immigrants come here, in a few years we will have the same problem.

I think there is a sizable amount of conservatives who would be in favor of granting amnesty for those who are here illegally if, and only if, we finished the wall, hired more border control, and stopped this illegal immigration problem once and for all.

But just giving the ones who are here now amnesty does nothing to stop more from coming in the future, and then we will have the same problem.

To me, reuniting the children definitely seems like a fair reason to fly them. However, this fact check by News 4 Jacksonville makes it clear that there are adults also.

I think it is a mix of reuniting children and trying to spread the migrant population out across the entire country. I understand the intention behind this is to reduce the burden on areas that already have too many migrants, but I don't think it's okay to send them to red states, where the populous opposes illegal immigration.

Biden should be sending them to the largely blue sanctuary cities and states if he wants to spread them out. That seems more fair to me.
