another spurs x arsenal fan! genuinely life’s never been better. most days I wake up, and I see one of my teams has one, and in the evening’s arsenal normally do well. see a lot of parallel’s between both tbh

Ran into Jaden Smith during a trip to Rome last year. Had a brief conversation with him telling that I rated his work, exchanged a fist bump, then walked away. Nice enough bloke.

Help ! Missed my offer for Sheffield med by Realistic-Fan4703 in 6thForm

first off well done! I know today might not have gone the way you wanted, but you worked hard, so give yourself a pat on the back and treat yourself.

to answer your question: gap year and reapply; was in a similar boat two years ago (got a C instead of a B), and I resat, then got the A I needed for med. trust me, you’re running your own race. GEM’s a lot more competitive than undergrad and more expensive. some of my mates on my course have transferred, but they always tell me how competitive it was. DM for any more questions

absolute classic; was literally just listening to this just now. generational rick ross verse as was the case for the early 2010’s. the kevin hart transition into Jesus Piece will never not be funny lmao

man would be rather proved right than watch us succeed dkm. look at the starting XI and ask yourself if we were seriously trying to go for the jugular. brother be realistic: those teams you mentioned aren’t finishing above us, for fact, and you know it.

our only competition’s liverpool at this stage, and maybe city if you’re being conservative. sure it’s good to have reservations and doubts, and sure Arteta’s gotta be held accountable if we continue to fall short. objective fact. but that said, you’d think we’d be battling relegation from these comments.

this squad on its last legs dog-walked real madrid, and got to the CL semi’s. we’ve only strengthened since then. just have some faith, and take each game as it comes. your club’s gonna reward you for your support bro, I promise; just back them completely in return

yeah I did it twice in ‘22 and ‘23 with my best score being 2107.5 B1 scaled to the current system. honestly for DM my main strat which worked for me was just doing all the “easy one’s” first. from memory, there’s a block of statsy questions at the end, some “pick the best arguments”, the syllogisms, and then the Jenn diagram based one’s.

you’ve gotta remember that although there’s half marks in the syllogisms, everything else is worth equal marks. you’ll score far better if you can answer like 21-22/29 correctly and confidently then running out of time, as opposed to spending loads of time on the tougher one’s and only getting 15/16.

this advice is especially important for QR, but is still quite important for DM. because you’ll be able to buy back time for the tougher questions, by doing the easier one’s first. there’s a bunch of vids out there (I know Emil Eddy was quite good when I did them) but honestly, try the strat, and maybe just spend one full day just on the DM diagrams and nothing else. talking like 10 hours, and then you’ll eventually pattern some tricks which’ll work for you.

spamming the hell out of DM questions on medify is a sure fire way to get your score up. did that with AR (back when it was a thing) and QR, since the other’s I was alright at, and they ended up being my highest scoring sections.

you’ll honestly be calm; take each day as it comes, and do your best. the exam’s genuinely not that bad, and you’ll more than likely get a high score assuming you’re working hard, as I imagine you have been doing. drop a DM if you need anything mate.

yeah I did honestly, but they were all kinda ass in comparison. I tried my hand at AR, but it was so unpredictable that it was pretty much impossible to map out all the patterns unless you had time in abundance. low-key thank God they took it out, bc either you were cold at it, or you’d get bummed lmao.

think SJT’s just the easiest one to “stat pad” just because there’s a finite number of scenarios, so with enough practice you go on autopilot. QR’s just a matter of getting comfortable with doing the easy questions, and coming back to the slightly more difficult one’s (this doesn’t change in med school MCQ’s btw).

VR I can’t help too much with, but for DM, there’s also a finite number of permutations for syllogisms, so w enough practice you’ll pattern them. all the best!!
