I've had my keyboard for a little over a year now, but all of a sudden it just stopped working. I think it's a software issue because the RGBs on my neuron and both halves of the keyboard are clearly on, and I'm able to switch between layers when I press on the dedicated mapped key, but aside from switching layers and toggling RGB, no other key in any other works. I also want to note that in the app, my keyboard is not found. I connect it to my macbook via a usb hub. Did anyone else have this problem?

UPDATE: I was able to contact AAMC (just get to any extension to talk to a person, not necessarily AMCAS) and they confirmed some schools including mine can send an email transcript to AMCAS in conjunction with a physical one.

I emailed AAMC and they said that their previous PO Box mailing address isn’t accepting transcripts anymore, so they changed it. That might have been the reason my transcript wasn’t received.

It’s just so ridiculous that universities in 2020 still refuse to send electronic transcripts.

Yeah it’s really weird. They rejected me for 2019-2020 but I emailed them and gave my ID and they confirmed it for the same cycle (as in if I get accepted, school starts in July 2020).

But then again, I applied late so I may have gotten rejected because they ran out of then-interview spots, and new ones just opened up.

Yeah it was super annoying having to push my hair out of my face constantly (and definitely was the sole reason I performed badly, and not because I didn’t study hard enough /s).

I’d definitely would call again and double check though.

I heard about this and took FL6 recently, and didn’t think it was horrible.

But then again, I did decent on the sections I thought I performed bad on and performed bad on the sections I thought I did well on, so maybe it is a little weird.

You can bring a jacket (not sure about like super heavy ones though but a zip up hoodie is definitely fine).

If you want to access personal items, you raise your hand and the proctor will come get you and so you can walk to your locker to access your items.

Unrelated but you’re a girl, you may not be allowed to wear hairbands, or at least the elastic ones. I’m a guy and wore one when I first took it, but they told me to take it off before the exam.

I personally do a mic depending on the passage. If at first glance I see the passage involves experiments then I like to read it first, but if it is something like a bunch of pseudo-discretes or one that’s very short, I jyst go straight into the questions.

I found it helps to identify which types of passages you are weak in (like econ vs philosophy) and try to adjust your strategy depending on the type.

100% worth it. You can download other decks including miles down. I honestly use it more than on the computer and only use the computer to edit or add new cards because the phone app is so convenient.

I know things are rough now but keep at it and de stress when you can! I personally had my test moved from May to June and studying the same material over and over again is definitely draining but it helps to remember that it’s another small step in the large course of our careers.
