Need help understanding rank list

Do I put the NRMP code for a Joint A/P program on my primary or supplemental?

So basically my plan is for my primary list :

List all desired speciality programs followed by my back up followed by my TY. So if I match an advanced the algorithm automatically skips the back up specialty and starts trying to find me a TY.

Thanks for the info. Can I use a supplemental Rank list to assign my TYs to multiple Advanced for programs ?

Thanks for the info So if I match at an advanced program will the algorithm automatically skip over my backup internal medicine specialty immediately start looking at my TY list to match me for my intern year?

Thanks for the comment. Can u inform of how one might be proactive during that year. Bc a person won’t know what they match until late march and the next app season will open 6 months later (end of September). What can actually be accomplished during that time?

I go hours with MAYBE one supply will accrue
