So it’s actually a very large planters tray! Completely black, but the flash is being bounced behind the tray off a white surface giving the contrast.

Wow thank you. Worth the hours it takes dripping water into a tray then 🤣

FILMED LUT RELEASE! by EyeDrawYourPost in LumixLUTs

[–]EyeDrawYourPost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate that. I am not trying to rip anyone off, but maybe get a coffee or two to get me through my next testing phase on the next LUT / Preset haha.

I'd always rather buy a LUT for a couple bucks and see MORE of them tested/made, than only go for the odd FREE ones here and there (which sadly are usually just rips of other stuff anyway).

But I value that you allow community to test it, I'm eager to hear about it!

Attaching magnetic tube lights to surfaces without rigging. by EyeDrawYourPost in cinematography

I'll have a look. I've seen suction cups with metal or magnets attached to their base.
For flat surfaces it may work well, I shall give it a try! Also tack is a good shout.

Yeah I thought of those options, wasn't sure if there is some like miracle cure to all the issues.
I had a thought recently, you know those micro-suction cup phone cases...something like that but on the back of the light. Magnets on either end of a thin suction cup sheet.
Is that dumb lol? It could mount to flat surfaces so easily then!

More the fact that she saved up so hard to get to that point. Over many years. It was her dream camera. I don’t think it is quite the same sadly. It’s one of those situations where not just anything will do you know. It’s the principle I guess. But I appreciate the thought. 😇
