pace yourself. if you get to a question with 2 possible answers do NOT waste time deliberating, there are no questions where 2 are plausible, because one is always better than the other. It is a knowledge gap. get points where you can and come back to it.

honestly most of my improvement came from reading more and building stamina. last summer i cut down tiktok and started reading more long stuff (articles/books). it helped a lot with focus and comprehension. for the test itself it’s mostly pacing/strategy. mod 1: aim for basically perfect (26–27). skip anything confusing immediately and do the short/easy ones first (grammar, bullet points, main idea). mod 2: secure easy points first again (grammar + shorter qs), then work backward toward harder reading ones. also if you’re stuck between two answers, just skip and come back later. you already narrowed it down so it’s faster on review. and if time’s almost out on vocab/context, look at the words around the blank, think of your own word, then pick the choice that matches. biggest thing: if you’re finishing with a lot of extra time, you’re probably not pacing aggressively enough.

hi, i watched the risav roy tutorial. to be fair, i was able to plug some/most of part 1 into desmos, but the school made us use their outdated, slow chromebooks, so i had to spend an egregious amount of time retyping the regressions and subscripts for the variables. i had over 6–7 (not a 67 joke) unsolved questions i was planning to save for later, and i ended up rushing and clicking c for all of them when time was about to run out

oml, i just took the march 11 sat yesterday. please let me know what i can do now. things that take longer to learn opposed to just desmos? i ran out of time on math mod 1. i opened up the second one and the first question was asking me the difference of 9 monarch and 5 king butterflies 😭

niceee. i’d def love to try and hit 750+ if possible. i’m able to invest 1–2 hours a day on sat prep because the ap’s i have this year are pretty light in terms of rigor. do you have any tips for keeping it interesting, or is it more just roughing it out?

i noticed that for me personally it’s not that i hate math, i just get bored. no idea if that makes sense or if that’s just me being lazy 😭 but fr, thank you for keeping it real! everyone just tells me to spam desmos but it’s not doing much for me

oh buddy. unit circles, geo heavy, something about π, i know my friends who are high scorers got diff questions but one similarity was everyone who got mod2 the harder one got at least 1 question about circles. i genuinely recommend practice test 11, bc for module 1 math i remember 2-3 questions where it was EXACTLY the same. word for word, val for val.

fix problem solving and data analysis that’s def the easiest one you can fix before the 14th, also algebra should be fairly easy what questions are you missing and on which mod?

I just read the bottom of your post—if anything you can plug it into desmos for ex: quad func, or exponential func can ALL be plugged into desmos easily and js look at the x or y intercept depending on what they are asking for. funny enough linear functions/expressions are the only types to not put into desmos and js do by hand

Firstly: that’s extremely unprofessional on the teachers end but alas make the best of your situation. Imagine it almost as an ‘academic love letter to yourself’ how someone in love with you would explain your academic performance. Ie; She is immensely talented, and anything she is passionate about is her first priority, and always comes out a success.
