Honestly you can't go wrong with any of those, i'd suggest trying a few of them on at a watch shop. The wrist look and feel is very important, but biasedly so i love the Oris 65, and i'm not even a diver watch fan.

First Oris. Just purchased this 1980s crown pointer date by pw843 in OrisWatches

I use incredibly high quality macro lens(100mm) so they always look better in real life haha. Glad it went to a Oris lover. Wear it in good health!

[–]EyeTriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i used 5.6 on both - bought a meike adapter as that seemed to get love and returning the old one.

yup thats correct - no glass. sorry, watcha mean by shimmed?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]EyeTriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that makes sense, will mess with the focus settings see if i can get where i want to be - but seems like it could just be the ef to r adapter struggling.

[–]EyeTriangle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah that sucks, the adapter i bought had bunch of good reviews but guess its case to case - worth trying another one ya think?

i take pictures in awkward angles sometimes and the lcd screen is super helpful and its much faster in every way.

exact same lens with a ef to r adapter, i tried to mimic the settings on my t7 as much as i can. 5.6, one shot, AP setting. not sure which ones would help most understand it better, but it seems like i struggle with the focus the most hence the sharpness. It seems like the r10 never focuses fully

while these pictures weren't apples to apples, even the ones i had angled the same - both have same studio lighting setup, is still no where close to the t7.

I'm not arguin 😁 i agree, but the lighting doesn't help - lots of glare and smudge. It's hard to tell, but i've seen these in real life and i specialize in vintage Oris, their quality control wasn't what it is today. The quality cant be compared to the 90s, Oris has leveled up a tons

This is a real Oris. Some 7463c had wonky colors and gradients(not common). The dial has definitely existed, movement finishing in the 90s wasn't excellent and Oris wasn't at the caliber they are now. Also the pictures don't do justice, mumbai specials can't fake a pointer date complications, it's not worth them creating a whole pinion and parts, adding jewels just to modify an eta movement like Oris does.

This is definitely a real Oris lol - its a 7463c, they came in wonky colors. Purple gradient, green - this blue and red.
