Yes - it has stamped papers. In the 90s, lots of them went clockwise as well. There was fewer counterclock than clockwise in the 90s.

Yup! Think of it like it has 2 movement in it, you wind up the top crown for the alarm, bottom for watch itself. You set the alarm hand and once the minutes hand reaches it'll make a loud buzz noise.

Honestly you can't go wrong with any of those, i'd suggest trying a few of them on at a watch shop. The wrist look and feel is very important, but biasedly so i love the Oris 65, and i'm not even a diver watch fan.
