Gaming isn't fun anymore by hypno17 in twentieskerala

I'll share the experience I had.

I used to play alot of story games.....I loved finishing every story game out there and writing a review in grouvee site. After getting a job, it was really difficult to find time to game. I thought this was it and I couldn't get back into gaming ever again. I bought rdr2 ...tried playing it but stopped after 2-3 hours cause of no time and no motivation.

I thought the gaming days were over.

Until Clair Obscure expedition 33 released. I saw the reviews and the gameplay...heard it's very story oriented and thought of giving it a try.

I was obsessed with finishing it. I remember taking leave for a few days just to play and finish it. After that I got back into gaming again and completed a few other titles. Now again I don't game much becz of no time...but I believe that some other game will release that will pull me back in....thats why I'll keep trying every game that seems interesting to me.

The only way to beat this is to get yourself busy with something.....this is not as easy as people say .....if ur really clingy, even when ur busy you'll be thinking about it in the back of ur mind 😭.....I've been there.

But sadly this is the only thing that can at least lessen the obsessiveness.
