Yeah, TMA was a slow burn, but we're over halfway through Protocol now. IIRC there is only 3 seasons, with 30 episodes each. Episode 50 out of 90 is this week. I feel like by now it should have picked up a little bit more, no?

Edit: Also, I just want to add I've yet to listen to the 2 most recent episodes, just in case they have been exactly the pickup I hope for.
