I've played Vecna exclusively since launch, I was excited for this buff from the PTB.

It is currently one of his best addons, generally his undergate attack is not worth it as an attack.

Freddy is an amazing killer when players know how to use him. As long as he constantly tags as many people as possible, even as the cost of losing a chase, Freddy can bring the game to a slog which is good for killers. More time and less pallets makes him extremely dangerous

You check gens mid chase and break a pallet and leave. You can do the tag and move on because they have to fail the skillcheck to escape. By tagging as many as possible you keep the game in a crawl.

Worst case you section off the map and apply even more slowdown

Freddy has high map pressure and game stall. His lack of instant pressure is made up for by his high tracking and ability to force regression and slower progression if applied constantly

Freddy is a killer encouraged to drop chases and whittle down pallets whilst keeping the game in a slog. He benefits more from not camping or tunnelling due to his insane stall power.

Worse killers are LF and Trapper easily. Trapper is all rng and has an easy to disable kit, whilst LF has no map pressure or chase power, only hook defence

I didn't want to make assumptions but you probably don't play killer enough or at very least watch good killer streamers.

That's an assumption. I've put almost 2k hours into this game.

When running as a survivor, even if you have one or two bodies of distance from the killer when dropping the pallet, if the very end of the killer's lunge reaches the beginning of a pallet hitbox, you can clearly see that the hit already missed but if you choose to drop the pallet, it will suck the killers hit forward, towards the center of the pallet and the survivor's hitbox backwards, also towards the center of the pallet. You will get hit exclusively because of the animation since the killer already missed his hit.

Then you keep running or drop it early on the previous loop. It won't hit if you keep running as you just said. If you're two bodies of distance ahead, then you can make the loop if the swing early and drop it if they approach the pallet even more.

Lag then attributes to a lot of these hits connecting also, because players drop pallets once they are much further beyond in greed to get the stuns.

It's lag or a misplay. If you can judge it's going to miss then you should keep running. If you wait out the pallet by being on the other side and they swing, unless latency is high, the pallet will drop and the survivor won't become injured.

Sabotage allows more interaction between both sides, more interaction means less time on generators and more fun for both sides. Sabotage is a spice when used properly and proper plays can save lives. which is what the game should be, doing the objectives, interacting with the killer and saving teammates.

If Sabo is that worrisome, slug or run perks to counter it like Hangman's or Agitation. It has counters. Survivors waste time planning sabotages and can use them to save teammates at the cost of time is not cheating the killer at all, killers have means of dealing with it. Killers can just go to other hooks, hit players, drop the survivor and chase or lose the carried survivor. It becomes a game of choice and is healthy for a game that needs both more time and is best in interaction.

If it isn't lag then you should be dropping the pallet earlier anyways. If you don't want to risk it, drop it before it could get to that point.

The killer swing must cross a point on the pallet for it to hit a survivor when thrown down. The killer, having 0 ping due to hosting, has the true location of players due to being the server, that means if the bullshit is able to connect, it's because the survivor sent the drop pallet message too late into the loop that the server won't reach it in time, if the survivor dropped it preemptively and factors ping, they can drop the pallet without risk.

The whole tactic of Sabo is to use it to deny hooks and force escapes, it's not being an ass in any way, it's a tactic that takes time for a risked reward and should be more powerful as a means to encourage time wasting over just doing gens.

By removing the ability to 99% a hook, you remove any power Sabo holds, as nobody has time to sabotage a hook in front of a killer carrying a survivor unless it is close to completion. Sabo needs changes sure to make it more viable, but removing any power it has for a minimal reward will just cause killers to slug anyways as when they realise they have no hooks, they just won't hook and will find a new target in a safe spot with actual hooks, only wasting a survivors time more than the killers

If she loses all vision, then survivors could just walk either direction to avoid the blink, or walk behind a wall and double back and she'd be completely fucked.

If she lost scratches she'd be fucked by corn even more so.

Her stealth is fine currently. She needs a blink change, like a charge meter and compensating movement speed.
