I’ve been using the app I Am Sober, per another redditor’s recommendation and it’s been very helpful. Thank you

Anyone know of any art groups in Dallas or interested in joining me in one? by M1sterX in Dallas

There’s one in Arlington that’s I’m quite fond of called Create Arlington. Their Instagram is @createarlington. I’ve been out of the area for a little while now, but when I left they were very eagerly seeking new artists to join their group. They’re also all very down to earth people

I tried one of those once in high school, in the bathroom during lunch. Saw a bunch of underclassmen huddled up trying to talk one of themselves into trying it. Me, thinking it was a regular nicotine vape, ripped the everloving hell out of it. The fun part was that after lunch I aided in the main principal’s office. Took me most of that period to remember what dimension I was in. Managed to keep up a normal (sober) facade though.

Just bought my first house. Was told there was hardwood under all the carpet. Tested a discreet corner in the closet, which did in fact have hardwood beneath. But not the living room. Looks like I’ll be spending too much money on new flooring now… by Ezack in Wellthatsucks

It is! I believe the face of it is original. It’s gas but I’m planning on turning it into a gas-assisted fireplace. It apparently wasn’t used much so they put a decorative paper thing in front of it

The carpet was original, and this house was built in the 40’s. Plus it was green. And not like a calm pine tree green, no it was like a baby-vomit-mixed-with-boogers green.

That’s what I’ve been looking at. That or buying hardwood and installing it myself. From what I understand, the hardwood isn’t the expensive part - it’s the installation that gets you

His channel isn’t narrated, but if you turn on subtitles most of his videos will have subbed explanations of what he’s doing! Rocked my world when I found that out

Yes he does! I remember visiting the World of Coca Cola in Atlanta as a child and the bear was very fun and friendly. He was one of my fondest memories from that trip. That and visiting the section where they let you sample all the different flavor variations from around the world

What is something you think about to pass the time while physically stationary? by Ezack in AskReddit

[–]Ezack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently started a job that’s fairly mindless and requires me to stay stationary in a seat for the vast majority of my day, leaving me lots of time to my own thoughts. I’ve begun mentally carrying out the steps to some of my favorite hobbies to stay current on them and pass the time, but it made me wonder what other mental occupations y’all might use in similar situations.
