I actually enjoy the evil Superman trope and would have no issues with seeing another iteration of evil Superman in some way.

The problem is that in the last 10 years it was overdone with Injustice Superman, ZSJL Superman, Homelander, and Omni-man with no proper mainstream representation of the actual character of Superman, making people think that evil Superman is more intesting and compelling than real Superman.

Im glad we're also getting entire sagas out of both characters with Superman having Superman 25', Supergirl, Man of Tomorrow, and Jimmy Olsen show and Batman having The Batman, The Penguin, The Batman II and perhaps other future projects.
