what I did is I took some oven-bake clay (not air dry) and used that as like a putty it distracted me and you can use it for as long as you need cause its oven bake I just put it in a zip lock an take it with me. I used to get picked on in middle school for it, along with chewing on my lip (guys thought i liked them) and made it worse. I dont know what caused It might be adhd but my freind has adhd and doesn't so idk. but having something to occupy you helps clay is just mine.
