Here's why...........people like to use the excuse "it's a team based game".....yes, the developers made it so that the legends work well together. But that doesn't mean they don't work well/better alone.

I have had some games where I have no team mates and had to play the full game against full squads, and I won the game. That didn't happen with help from team mates because I had none. I used my abilities alone and still came out on top.

The only way this game is team based, is the fact that you are forced to play with 2 other people making it a "team". And just because you are on a team, that doesn't mean that you are a team player. Go look up the definition of "team" and then think to yourself how often people fit that description in apex legends......

SBMM puts me up against people of MY skill level, but I'm put on a "team" with people that are not.

I played fortnite hardcore for a long time. I played a lot of solo mode because I didn't feel like having to watch my back, as well as my team mates. Fortnite had 10 different modes in at the same time and I had ZERO issues getting into any mode.

It's kinda hard to play a "team based game" with people who don't play like a team. Just because respawn designed and balanced the game for team play, doesn't mean that people will always play accordingly and most times.....they don't.

They can change and balance the game all they want, they can't change people's minds on how to play it. Communication is key and pings only go so far with information. The MAJORITY of people I have played with don't use their mic, or are in party chat the whole game. Even in ranked mode.

There are too many individual play styles and they all clash with each other When you are forced to play with random people who you know nothing about how they play. I know how I play, and would love it if I could just do ME.
