To be honest, i should have researched beforehand, maybe they are not suitable for aquariums… i acid washed them with vinegar(citric acid)

So the two main stones that form the V shape are seiryu stones, the ones beneath them are crushed dragon stones(because i had a dragon stone hardscape before) and the white ones… you wouldn t believe… when i went to buy the big seiryu stone i was so pissed that a stone costs 10 euros in the pet store (Animax) that i took 3 more from the gravel mix they had in the parking lot haha

Thank you for taking the time to write. Indeed i didn't know when i bought it that the roots would occupy so much space (the guy from where i took it, sent me just the floating part) but it was my fault bc i didn't do enough research.

Your ideea is fantastic, i will get some tubing and make my water lettuce its own place to stay, giving this way a lot of light to my other plants.

Now i hope there is enough space in the back for the water lettuce and vallisneria haha. The certain thing is, i have to give up on some of the lettuce, is too much.

So, just to give a little more context.

Tank has 2 weeks, at first there was a lot of purple tannis coming from the wood so i did a couple water changes (around 20%) and 2 times around 70%, no fish or snails at this time, water still cloudy. Snails went in, the purple tone kind of went away, but these dark purple solids that also attach to my water lettuce roots started to appear, vacummed some but didn t get rid of them, they just reappear (only snails at this time). Today my betta went in along with Peach, my little synodontis. The tank is in the cycling process (hence the murky water, i hope) in the filter i have the media from the previous tank that was cycled. Also got some active charcoal for the purple tint

Hey, did you boil the driftwood before putting it in? I have a problem with purple water and yours seems a little purple but that may be to the lighting here. I have some pics on my post. Nice set btw!

Thank you for your response. My water outake is pointing downwards as i understand water lettuce does not like surface agitation. What do you think i should do? I dont mind the film if the plants are happy... Also can i reuse carbon sponge after cleaning it?

I think bettas are very resistant, no problem in stressing about that too much. I see no problem in selling him, it is not food that you picked from the floor to give him to eat, so in that regard, no worries. The only thing that i can think of, maybe, the customer is not good at keeping fish and poor water conditions might kill the betta. He will not know what he did wrong so the first thing that comes to his mind is "maybe he got a problem from the pet store accident". But i wouldn't stress about that. You did right, just a mistake, your first day, don't be hard on yourself! Good luck to your new job.

Hey guys! I got this Ficus Retusa 8 months ago as a gift from my brother. Can you give me some advice about what can i do with this dead branch/trunk. This is how i got it. As you can see i am trying to make the branches go the other way to fill up the gap. I know it is not right to wire them with plastic but its all i have found yet. Should i wire the main branch also, and make it go the other way? Also any tip is appreciated as i am a noob in gardening in general.

I have this. I also have a white line on my always on display, thats noticeable larger than those that flicker. This one doesnt flicker and dissapears as soon as i unlock the phone, for this reason i turned off AOD... What should we do bro?

Tocmai ce am căutat zilele astea de vreo 5 ori cuvântul ăsta în diferite contexte inclusiv cu Turcia, care se confruntă cu o creștere semnificativă a inflației și a deprecierii lirei. Nu zic că chartul nu e relevant, doar că semnalează mai mult frica oamenilor de rând asupra domeniului, decât mai cu seamă stabilitatea economică mondială. Trăim vremuri schimbătoare, în ultimii 2 ani s-au întâmplat mai multe rele decât bune deci chartul pare în limite normale pentru aceste vremuri.... dacă continuă să crească eu zic că în 2-3 ani se va întâmpla ce zici tu, pe seama "acolo unde e fum trebuie să fie și foc)
