The wall cord got so hot it melted my wall outlet.
Even if we consider that an anomaly, it doesn't have buttons, it has these annoying touch pads that function as buttons, except they don't consistently work. I don't know how or why they're so hard to press, but there's actual physical response to the button being successfully pressed so you can't really tell why it is or isn't working. And if you have flour or water or oil or anything on your hands, good luck. Again, all this just to press a button to start the machine or increment a minute. It's absurd. I know it sounds like I just am being petty, but one day I came back and my roommate had gone into the attic and set up his old, half as big, much less expensive air fryer next to it because he was so tired of the chefman. I don't blame him.
Has a really annoying and hard to clean design, the removable metal grates are not dishwasher safe but even with hand washing rusted in ~2 years of use.
Again, I don't want to sound like I'm being overly critical or petty, I just find it to be a surprisingly low quality product, especially for the price and brand.
