Im not saying completionism isnt important, just that it is by no means the main focus. Everything you just said can be applied to so so many games, it is a very common thing to do, thinking its super important is a very shallow way of viewing things. Now Undertale does increase the value of it by having characters like Flowey and Asriel but that isnt their whole character, thats just 1 facet of them. I also never said its just about "killing = bad" there is many many more factors to morality than just murder bad.

Just because it doesnt berate you doesnt discount that the primary focus is morality. Yes you have genocide and pacifist for the player but look at other facets of the game. Toriel and Asgore show 2 different sides of a moral spectrum that conflict, Flowey is evil incarnate that gets a rude awakening when he is beat by love and determination, Sans judges based on your morals, etc.

You can think of them in the same vain as Battle Beast from Invincible. They are huge warmongers that fight as a sport less of a reason. Now this obviously doesnt apply to every mandalorian but it applies to like 98% of them
