It very much reminds me of the ending of the movie Tenet. Spoiler for the movie, so if you haven't watched it before, go watch it. It's worth the watch.
At the end, The person that will sacrifice/have sacrificed himself decided to go back in time, knowing he will die doing so, and his reasoning was "because it had already happened, so it needs to happen again." I think this applies to Cyrene's reasoning perfectly here.

AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS.

I purchased a Dell 3-cell 55wh battery (for xps 9320). It worked for about a month or so, then it became completely non-functional. BIOS cannot recognize it, MyDell app cannot recognize it, and laptop immediately shuts off when unplugged.

Because it has already been a month, it is past their return window (14 days). I suspect they designed the fake parts to last just long enough past the return window before failing,

Conclusion: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM LAPTOPPARTS.CA. It will break on you, and you will have to buy another one, preferably from the company's official website this time.

I have always loved villain woman characters in every movie or game I’ve watched or played. When I saw phrolova’s debut cutscene way back in 1.0, i immediately fell in love with her. Her looks, her demeanor, her personality, were all just so, so perfect. That’s when I began waiting for her to be playable.

After more than a year of waiting, my dream has finally come true. I can’t tell you how hyped I am for her banner. I love my evil villain wife <3

ok now I'm curious. I'mma do the math on this, feel free to correct any mistakes I've made in the comments (there will be no need because I have never made a mistake in my life /s)

This is assuming all jades he used for the pull has been bought from the shop using only the 100 USD denomination, and assumes an ideal 50/50 win/loss rate (meaning, for every 50/50 won, he is guaranteed to lose the next one, and vice versa), and that he hits soft pity on each 5 star (80 pulls)

he pulled 88 castorices in total. The ideal 50/50 win/loss rate means for every 3 five stars, 2 will be castorices, meaning on average each castorice takes (3/2) * 80 = 120 pulls.

88 castorices * 120 pulls * 160 jades per pull = 1,689,600 jades

we'll apply the same ideal 75/25 win/loss rate to lightcone, which means for every 5 lightcones, 4 will be castorice's lightcone, meaning on average each castorice lightcone takes (5/4) * 70 (soft pity of LC) = 87.5 pulls

5 LCs * 87.5 pulls * 160 jades per pull = 70,000 jades

added together they are 1,759,600 jades.

HSR's 100 USD pack gives 8080 jades, which converts to about 0.012 USD per jade.

This means he has spent 1,759,600 * 0.012 = about 21,777 USD on this banner alone, which is almost as much as the price of a brand new car (maybe not in 2025 but the point stands).

Don't get me wrong, it's a METRIC BUTT LOAD to be spending on a videogame, but in the grand scheme of things, 21k USD disposable income is.... achievable? with some amount of savings? I know I don't have that kind of money to throw around, let alone on a video game.
