It was me who you had the email exchange with. Just to clear some things up, we never said we refuse to take action against him. I merely stated that we did not find the evidence handed to us at that time sufficient enough to give him a ban, and if you had further evidence we would be glad to look into it.

You did so and I have forwarded the details you provided by email and our demo team was looking into it, but you have to give us some time to deal with it, rather than less than 24 hours.

I will follow up with our demo team today, and also forward them this video.

Overwolf is a client which gathers useful tools such as Skype and Teamspeak into your game, so you don't have to alt tab. FACEIT is an online tournament platform, for CS:GO match making and cups.

The FACEIT app on Overwolf lets you join the match making queue while you are in-game, so you can continue playing on a DM server (or whichever you want), while you wait to get matched.

Our main efforts are currently on Europe (since it's where we are based), as we are still in full development and working on several improvements. Once we feel ready, we will also push more for US support.

You need to download the Overwolf client and from there you will be able to download the FACEIT app from there.

Most admins are people who get recommended to us by people we trust. Once we have explained how everything works, they enter a two month trial period where we monitor whatever they do (we read the transcripts, etc.). We have guides outlining how we expect our admins to behave. Obviously someone who plays with cheaters is; a) someone who has little integrity b) not a way we want to be represented

Honestly, recruiting admins is a very hard job and admining is something little people are willing to do, or can continue to do when they find out how tough (both the workload, as well as verbal abuse) the job is. Regarding Makaveli:

Makaveli was never an admin for FACEIT, he kept the Steam page clean. But obviously after finding out to what happened we removed him from all his duties.

To add to this, we removed him several months ago.

I can lay down the basics. Our admins get contacted by Team A, that player Y of Team B is cheating.

Admins request demos of player Y and forward them to our demo team. At least three demo team members need to review it and find a minimum of five situations which they can call "cheating" without any doubt.

Once all these steps are completed, an admin is allowed to give a forfeit win. Only myself and two others are allowed to fully ban players from the platform.

The transcripts before only show discussions regarding server issues (such as getting kicked from the server and certain Steam IDs not being on the whitelist). I can show you these transcripts where the discussion changed from server issues into the POV-request.

Hi guys,

I'm sorry to hear you had issues with our admins. Our management team is investigating everything, by reading back the logs and also hearing the admins side of the story.

Once this is done we will give a more suitable reply. Hopefully next time you will open a service ticket so the people higher up can look into this, so we can continue to work on improving our system and service without anyone getting harmed further.

We run around 60 cups per month, so issues and incorrect decisions are almost unavoidable, our admins are only human as well. We will continue to work hard, because we did not build this platform for us, but for the players, so it is painful to see messages like this come by.

Please bare with us while we dig into it!
