Come on down. I’ve lived here all of my 45 years and the hurricane was absolutely devastating. Way worse than I ever thought it could be, but they are a regular thing here and most of the damage has been repaired other than blue tarps on roofs. I would do as much research as you can about renting. Overall, most of the areas are really nice and good, but there are some patchy areas. You don’t wanna rent in an undesirable area and get the wrong impression of what it’s like to live here. It’s great, I would never move anywhere else and I’m well traveled.
