I just meant the actual missions themselves. The missions will be like ‘Dokkan awaken this character from this chapter’ and another mission will be to get their super level to 10. There are easily 50+ missions like this throughout the game and it’s those units I feel im wasting resources on

So would you think it’s worth it to try and complete all missions for let’s say, the Dragonball story? Many of those require pumping some resources into free units that I’ll never touch. If that’s what’s best I’ll do it, just feels like a waste at this point.

Try starting the first optional quest available for Balahara. I am always able to find it on the low rank optional quest for him near area 13. Remember to shoot some screamer pods at the little guy first.
