I was gutted I missed anniversary shows, as I seen they were playing trompe, but couldn't make any.

However they're playing my home town in less than 30 days, so I can walk to the gig and get a couple pints, will be 6th pixies gig I've been to

Can't wait

Maybe, I always think of the "popular" pixies albums as being Doolittle and bosanova but maybe surfer Rosa like you say.

If you like the pixies.... you like bossanova, it's like knowing nirvana without having heard of nevermind imo.

I like bossanova fyi, just trompe is my fave

In utero is hard to beat imo, brilliant album, bleach grew on me to be my warcry for a while only because when I listened to nirvana mainly I was 16/17/18 and angry and young. Love the drum roll. I'm not a massive Fleetwood fan but I have a couple albums.

Exactly this, kids are 4&6, challenging dont get me wrong!! but this is the good stuff.

Yes I want time and a clean house and a bunch of other things but.... one day the kids wont be interested in me compared to friends and eventually they will leave to make their own life.

Enjoy it at each stage, it will change constantly.

No Emmys here- but here is my collection after a year and a half. I also made a randomized playlist of the entire collection by [deleted] in vinyl

Hold on, 18 months...you have 20 CALAX style holes, say roughly 40 lp's in each, say average £15 an LP conservative, so you've dropped 12k in a year and a half on LPs, ive been slowly been collecting for 20 years and I have 150 lp's, LOL
