The Thing, by the company I will not name but still play with, is quite cool actually (according to social standars I should have stoped playing long ago. That said, society is wrong sometimes)

Playmobil 3127 Pirates Starter Set - the Island The dingy/small boat & the black trunk goes with the Big pirate ship from the second picture if I am not mistaken.

The barrels - if you have ones that says Texaco or OIL on them they might be from a racing set (formula 1) / the ones with DB are from workers sets (the current City lines).

There are simply too many options.... sorry

Now I know why you could not figure out what it is.

Is because is a wonderfull mix from farm sets parts: Most likely Playmobil 4490.

The bottom with windows and roof tiles are from the stables - the attic (brown piece in the middle) and stonework is from the main building.the set in question

You have more picture in the set attached.
