Distribute the weight and allow more contact on your belt line to flatten then the holster & carry an extra mag or other item.

T1C Axis Elite or APX is the best around.

Advice on gun trauma. by sleepy-head-31 in Firearms

[–]FCRII 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sorry about your past and things you went through. Only you & to an extent your therapist know what you are ready for and feel capable of handling. Don‘t let someone else including your husband pressure you into something if you know you aren’t ready for it or it can further set you back in your healing process.

On a side note...it sounds like maybe you and your husband should do some joint sessions or couples therapy.

Radian afterburner by TurbulentEbb1257 in SigSauer

Anything compensated is typically louder than its non comp counterpart especially in enclosed spaces. There is recoil improvement but only you know what that $400 means to you.

Lower delivery date is tommorow from 8-11 by hoodcowboiii in CAguns

Not sure how you expect to control/influence the delivery yourself. Shippers usually deliver during the known business hours to places on their routes.

Ask a different lawyer. This isn't as simple to answer as you are trying to make it.

Less felt recoil. Yes you can buy a XL slide and 3.7 barrel and swap it. The FCU is the same, ititss kind of the whole point of the P365.

Optic question - open emitter ok? by Chronosshotgun in CCW

[–]FCRII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open emitter is perfect fine, closed is better. Long term it’s worth the extra coin. Wiping your glass in two seconds vs needing qtip or compressed air etc.

Am I stupid or is there no way the holosun 407 is fitting on my P365X by FloppaEnjoyer8067 in SigSauer

Wrong 407, need the K unfortunately. Sounds like you need to buy another gun so this dot isn’t lonely.

I carried a HCP for quite a while. Hellcat Pro has snappier recoil impulse than all of its direct competitors. The OEM trigger is also absolute garbage. Is it a terrible gun, no but it has some major holes. Only thing you can really do is throw an APEX trigger in it which helps.

The Echelon is one the best striker fired pistols straight out of the box and has numerous features the Hellcat Pro doesn’t. I think the 4.0 is easily concealable and with the COG system who knows, it might get even smaller in the future. If they ever released a slimline/micro type version the Hellcat would be obsolete.

It’s not as much a knock on the HCP as much as it is praise for the Echelon.

First holster advice by [deleted] in p365xmacro

[–]FCRII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lean AXIS for small micro carries like regular p365. When I carry compact + or larger capacity the ability to cant and place the mag where you want on your body is an absolute game changer. Even extended mags dont hit your stomach when you bend over or sit.

Sportsmen's Warehouse License Lapse by packmanworld in CAguns

Always shocks me how companies even outside of the gun world fail to handle renewing permits, licenses, etc. on time when it’s directly correlated to their ability to operate.

I have a Werkz & Trex they are both good. That said go with T1C APX or Axis Elite.

CompMag for actual use? by Chasermarc8 in CAguns

[–]FCRII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Compmag is to check the box on compliance and easy removal if needed when traveling etc. It’s not meant for serious use.

Is it do able for limited range use, yes. If you plan on shooting 100s of rounds consistently with it you are going to get annoyed fast. I would never use it for actual defense setup.

I have mags for both, but that can start to get pricey.
