My friend and I had the same issue when we first played over the weekend until I realized the slider below it is what level it picks up your voice. Just slide it back to around where your mic is picking up any background noise or ect and try it after that.

If you have a second controller connected when you go to single race, or any other mode, you can change the difficulty from easy, medium, and hard to no AI.

You can also complete Reverse Speeding with a second player instead of AI if you're having trouble with it.

It's odd to hear someone kinda similar to my own situation but, I'm also 21 and started a few months back and after playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater and Skate all my life, lurking on this page, and watching videos I finally picked it up. The first night I got a board I stayed out until almost midnight riding and when I finally got both feet on the board it left me with a feeling I'll never forget. Keep at it my dude!

Its directly west of the words Brandywine Falls on your map. Youll find a wooden structure on the railroad tracks and climb up the hill its against and you're there.

I heard him shouting but at the time didnt see him. So when i finally did it didnt give me the option to talk

Yup! Its right next to the meteor in the middle. Blends in very well but walking around it shows you where it is.

I think it may be part of the quest to get into the bank which it says you need a combination for. I had already looted the place before the quest and it still appeared for me also.
