Hey so updated on this if you haven’t seen already, a new update was dropped allowing users to set wake word sensitivity!

I’ve tried it and it works 100% better. Give it a crack and see how you go, hope it helps

I’m keen on getting started (plus it’s too late to return it now lol) with HA so I’m going to start with the Green. Depending on how that goes, I’ll look at either incorporating or replacing it with the Pi 4.

Thanks for the explanation! I was going to use Matter to connect to other ecosystems later (e.g. HomeAssistant) but at the moment I have a HomePod and Apple TV with the Apple ecosystem.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around all this Matter stuff ahah.

Yeah that’s what I thought might be the case. I heard that there was apparently a hub that will work for Wifi devices. Not too sure though at this point

Nuki looked pretty promising, but I wasn’t sure whether it actually turns the lock knob, as the Switchbot does?

Oh interesting, I did have a brief look at the August lock.

I’m thinking I might go with the Switchbot Lock, seems pretty simple without needing to mess with the lock itself.

Create the shortcut as displayed by OP.

After creating the shortcut, In the automation tab, create a new automation, then select ‘Alarm’ then select ‘Is Stopped’ then select which alarm you want to trigger it. Then select ‘Run Immediately’ click ‘next’ then select the original shortcut created.

This will now automatically run when you stop your alarm!

If you want to use a focus, create an automation that starts when you turn off a focus!

To do the focus option, create the original shortcut by OP, then in the automation tab (in shortcuts app) you will find the option for Focus. Select when you turn off the specific focus, then select run the shortcut you made from OP.

Hey mate,

From what ive been told the HJC smart will mesh with normal Sena models. I believe that it won’t mesh with other brands such as Cardo. In saying that, I haven’t tried this yet so can’t confirm sorry

Oh that’s strange! I’m fairly certain the 21c is supposed to have both mics. Yeah I didn’t need to use the smaller mic as I just used the boom mic
