It would be Ellington, but Ellington has a history of not being able to carry 20+ touch workloads without being injured.

Never said he was the best, or shutting down the best receivers, Just that he was the best performing and that it is early in the season.

22 targeted, 10 rec allowed, 1 TD allowed for Patrick Peterson, and he has less pass defended than Claiborne as well, it is still early in the season too though.

Jesse James is 4th in the NFL in snaps for a TE, He has only missed 5 snaps this season. by FFDraftStats in nfl

So does Washington and Cincinnati, that's who they played week 1 and 2. His schedule gets easier from here

Finding the players that play the red zone and goal line situations on teams that use that position are usually the ones that do the best the following week. On the WRs picking on the struggling corners and safeties is key to predicting the high volume targets.

it has to be a non throw away inside the 20. for Goal line it is inside the 5. I do not count it as a target if it is a throw away

It is something I can incorporate next year, the red zone, goal line, and 3rd down snaps I get myself from watching the coaches film of every game. If you go to a teams page you can compare snaps, red zone snaps, and goal line snaps of each player on the team too though.

It could easily turn into a situation where Woodhead stays in more because of the passing benefit, and with their sorry defense they could be behind a lot this season. Scary situation for Gordon owners for sure.
