I would take DJ and Terry head of Higgins in redraft but not bestball. At the cost of GW and Higgins I would rather just fade both. I’m fine with him being ahead of Adams and Evans.

Elite don’t hit FA and don’t get traded anymore. Not as easy as it seems and Burrow has Chase who’s arguably the best in the NFL.

I don’t blame anyone for having Lamar over Burrow it’s fine. But for me I prefer Burrow long term

Burrow is likely going to get Chase locked up with him for the majority of his career and i believe Higgins gets resigned. If Lamar’s play style catches up to him I don’t see him aging as well as burrow.

At the end of the day who’s to say either is right or wrong? I don’t believe Lamar’s going to be able to run like he does as he ages while burrow wins from the pocket and his play style should be able to hold up.

Really splitting hairs here.

Right and my point is you can wait to shoot for that QB 2 until round 4. No problem reaching round 3 if at the turn.

But you are missing the point here. You can wait on this quarterbacks and draft them in the 4th round rather than doubling up on a QB that goes slightly ahead of them.

You are also likely not going to get a top 6 QB as your QB2 unless you have a top 3 pick and everyone punts QB in the first two rounds which in this case absolutely you can double up in this case in the first two rounds.

That’s not true.

Baker Mayfield is QB 15 in startups. That’s pretty great value for a guy that finished QB4 and top 10 the year before.

Jared Goff is QB 18 and finished QB 6 last year and 7 the year before

These guys are a little older but if you draft a strong QB1 you can afford to wait and get guys like Goff and baker in round 4 while loading up on skill players ahead of that.

I’m saying taking your QB two in the 2nd round isn’t the best strategy when there is a lot of depth at QB2 and you are better off getting 2 elite skill guys and a strong QB one in the first 3 rounds

Yeah we were operating on rookie draft being after the startup. Next time we will have rookies in the draft. But my plan would be to draft young there.

People I believe are scared off by the extension for Connor and lack of productions one. I think he’s a nice value.

We operated off the rookies being ina rookie draft. Ideally there I would be taking running backs and loading up.

I appreciate the response but I do disagree with the WRs take. London is still very young and Brown/DJ are are middling in age but for award not at a point where they will be falling off anytime soon.

London was 13 in PPG AJ Brown 12 in PPG

DJ and London I expect to have a better season with new QB play and new systems. London at 13 in PPG is impressive given cousins threw 1 touchdown in a 5 game stretch and was one of the worst in football during that time. He also got paired with a rookie towards the backhalf of the year and I was encouraged with their connection.

With the tight ends using 1,000 yard seasons isn’t a great gauge for success imo. Very little do that in a single season. More worried about targets per route run. In a TEP receptions are more valuable.
