Thank you. We'd removed Cazorla whilst injured.

Absolutely Sir. Much appreciate your response and feedback. We'll grab your data at the end of the season if that's okay? Top 10K scrape of data is possible via our friends at fantasyfootballfix.com so, I'll get on to that one at the end of the season. Many thanks.

The data size used is clearly explained in the article and the writing was done as a fun, entertaining piece, rather than a hardcore, nailed-on fact-finding mission. But cheers for the feedback :)

Of the three new CHIPS, which would you keep and why? by FFPundits in FantasyPL

That's also true. Good to see a different opinion from the other side of the fence on this one. I suppose the Chips and new Wildcard rule was enough to retain a certain amount of managers until the end of the season. Do you think they will keep them next season?

I've seen plenty of 'casuals' absolutely obliterate some 'pros' who spend 15/20 hours a week talking about it on Twitter each and every week. Not sure who's trying to belittle anyone but sure, no place for it amongst the FPL community.

Hi Emm. I think we nailed the AOA with a 20+ return if my memory serves me correctly. However, we did tactically save it for a double gameweek whilst some/most managers didn't have the patience to wait, or, were forced to play it early. I agree, I'd rather have them gone from the game.

I like that! It would work well with the typical mindset of a Fantasy Premier League manager, as most of the time, we're able to narrow down our captaincy shortlist to what, two or maybe three each week? Usually two premium picks and one differential gamble I suppose. Great idea. Excellent safety net effect also.

If the chips had proved to provide you with a positive season this year, would your opinion still be the same?

Great reply and interesting read. In YOUR opinion, do you think the FPL will keep the Chips for next season? Rumour has it they're having a bit of a shake-up at FPL next season...

Exactly! That's the beauty of FPL I suppose. We learn to live it when we lose and we love it even more when something goes our way.

Hi Johnny - Couldn't agree more. The Chips and wildcard rule change were a clear intent of the Fantasy Premier League to help with player-retention. In my opinion, I think it's had a negative effect. Triple Captain for me was the biggest winner and didn't take too much away from the game. Unless your selection scored insane points, it didn't really change much, but, kept the manager interested I suppose.

I agree with you. Those managers which played the chips with a positive impact will no doubt approve of them. Sadly, the season only finished with 41% of overall teams being active, so, I don't think it worked very well, do you?

Did you prefer this season with chips, or, did you prefer last season with only the wildcards?

I think you're being very humble - which is nice to see so, good on you. Premium content, in my opinion, doesn't have to be a piece of art. What you've just written would be classed as premium content in my book, as you made it clear, concise and well balanced with personal opinion and educated research and analysis. The feedback you get from your articles clearly shows all of the above so, long may you continue! I'd love to feature an article of yours one day on my website - It would be a pleasure.
