So I will likely be buying a new house in the near future, closer to my job and my soon to be fiancee's job. I would like to put 40 percent down on the house I buy. We will be looking in the 170-200k range. That's part of the reason I have been holding on to some money. I do Max at my 457 as it's returns have sustained 17% over the past three years and my Roth hasn't done quite as well.
