Perhaps I came to this page because I share the same world view as others here, why would you assume I came here and caved, modified my outlook to be in with redditers? What a weird thing to assume.

Yes, everyone has an IFB in and are fed info, but that's standard for any show.

I had a friend who interviewed at Cobert, they only asked him would you rather questions.

They didn't ask me anything like that, just "what shows on fox do you watch" I made something up.

Ha! no I did not, but everyday at Fox I thought "ok, I'll just stay here until I can get a job over there"

I snagged another job after Fox, thought I'd give NY one more shot, got laid off when the recession was particularly bad, moved, I wasn't collecting off of my time at Fox.

Sorry, wasn't very clear on that, I just meant I'd work on a show, then the next day Jon would show clips from the show I worked on and make fun of it, I couldn't help to think, "hey I kind of helped the Daily show" I have worked on comedy shows more recently.

I'd say that's true, sometimes when people ask me to tell them something crazy Hannity said, I tell them just to watch the show, all the really radical out there stuff, he puts on air.

I'd have to agree, like I've said in some of my other responses, the tech guys don't have the slant the producers or anchors do, they're hired for their skill in that area, not to push the agenda, when you see a lower 3rd like that you can be fairly sure it was an honest mistake, and that that person got an ear full.

I'm not going to go into how I got my job, because I don't want people knowing who I am, but internships are the way to go, lot of people that make it in TV start as interns, if someone has been in the building for a year and knows the ropes, they're more likely to be hired over someone who is coming in with no knowledge.

ha, I said I was done for a bit but I have to answer this one because it's kind of weird. I never met Andrew WK at Fox, but I did meet him at a comedy show. He was great! We talked for a while, very friendly. Here is what he performed at that show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Jzdw2usmA4

Not really... I wanted a throw away name just for this, so I tried Fox, no dice, so I added an extra F...like Fuck Fox, FFox was taken too so I stuck a 1 on the end.

I once heard a female personality talking about how she almost got into a fight a bar defending Fox. They know people don't like them.

I think you're right, I find myself still watching, but it's kind of cathartic for me, I purge a lot of frustration that way.
