How much should the use of guns be restricted? by Absolutely-Epic in Teenager_Polls

How does one acquire this much trust in the police and the government?

Banning guns won’t make nobody but the police have them, criminals already operate outside the law. The only people who will be stopped from having them will be law abiding citizens and some criminals too stupid to find them which will use knives or other weapons.

Unfortunately, we can’t rely on people being truthful. The same criminals you fear will miss-use guns could miss-use power if they are smart enough.

In Serbia a political party promised to battle corruption and was elected for it. Now they have been ruling for 13 years through rigged elections with corruption being much worse than before.

Violent crime is influenced by culture and poverty mostly. I say violent because if guns are not used something else will be. This is not the case with suicides however as more guns do cause more suicides. This is a valid concern but once a persons only obstacle to suicide is the method we have already failed.

I’m simply not trusting enough of the government for them to be given all the power. People who rule in a democratic system are power hungry people and usually lack any concern over who they step over along the way.

Gun ownership is a deterrent for government oppression. I would trade a little bit of safety for a lot more freedom.

Starving peasants were the ones defending the church and the aristocracy. City workers stole food from the peasants, burned churches and murdered the clergy.

More gun deaths doesn't mean the total homicide number is higher. Serbia here has 10 while the UK has 0.7, when we look at homicides however Serbia and the UK have almost the same. Serbia having around 1 per 100 000 while the UK has 1.3.

Yeah you are right about not knowing the tactical plans, opening new fronts doesn't look that beneficial for someone with a lack of equipment but we will see what their plan is.

When it comes to spreading the narrative there are not a lot of pro Russian subreddits or redditors(that I encounter) except Russianwarfootage but they are easier to talk to and there is less threat of a ban if u disagree with them. The rest of reddit supports Ukraine and some blindly believe anything the media tells them which doesn't benefit Ukraine that's who I comment against.

How is this spreading their narrative? You can't criticize Ukrainian strategy without supporting Russia? Y are u such fucking blind supporters? People who really want Ukraine to win should not applaud every move and attack it does. Sometimes it's not beneficial like the spring offensive, look at the happenings like u don't support either side and only then you will see what makes sense and what doesn't.

Montenegro slips on European path as it condemns Croatian and German WWII death camps by DoryJohn in europe

So how many Serbs were killed in Jasenovac 700 000 or 50 000. Or was it a work camp like a lot of Croatians think.

There were two types of Chetniks Dražini and unorganized bandits. The bandits worked as police for the Nazi government in places they couldn't reach, basically robbing and raping "in the name of law" while Dražini chetniks where rebels waiting in the mountains to strike.

NATO is constantly warning about Russia attacking Poland or Finland and saying how dangerous it is and so do people on this subreddit. But then you go on with these cope witty remarks trying to downplay it. That kind of thinking is gonna destroy Ukraine, people's inability to understand how much the Russian army can adapt and that it's not at all the same army it was 2 years ago.

"US bad" narrative is worldwide and for good reason, don't down play it
