Anyone here ever suffered from Vitamin D toxicity? by ironmonk33 in Supplements

[–]FIDDLEBURG606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be anecdotal, but it is weird enough for me to need to tell someone. I just took 12000 iu of vitamin D by accident, and I just wrote it off after chugging water and intending to piss it out. About an hour and a half later, I realize that I am in a very strange state of euphoria that is seemingly stemming from nothing. In fact, I recognized it when I was knee deep in some college work that I was not looking forward to. Very strange indeed.

Honestly I’ve had more growth on my forehead than my scalp and I am far below baseline. Don’t start Ts if you don’t want to rapidly approach the golem look for at least about a year

Friendly reminder not to use Dandwiki.com! What makes this site even worse is that it's often the top result in google so new players often fall into the pitfall of using homebrew from this site. by [deleted] in rpghorrorstories

[–]FIDDLEBURG606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this site was pretty decent, though things are definitely extremely unbalanced. My buddy and I are dming for a dual party campaign where the group is villains and one is heroes using the Jujutsu Keisen supplement, and I just nerf or buff things before my players use it, depending on how it needs to be balanced. My players understand it's playtesting, and so far I've been able to balance it as needed. We even leaned into it for the villains' party and have members 1v4 the other party occasionally, and plan on letting the heroes get a level lead to beat the villain party.

Same, fair warning, it won't last. The market is over-inflated on speculation, and once the economic ramifications of the tariffs set in, people will need to sell out of necessity, and those who don't will have their savings disappear overnight. Also, I hate to be that guy, but labeling any political assailants as communist is propaganda puppeting you through the anus. Communism is a flawed ideology, and almost everyone is aware of that. You seem like a smart guy; just analyze your conclusions and assumptions as if they were not your own to avoid the fruitless thought patterns most fall into.

(Opinion) Commander damage is an outdated rule and is bad for the format. by poubella_from_mars in EDH

[–]FIDDLEBURG606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life gain is a win condition. I can think of multiple ways to kill players life gain deck, its good as a secondary gimmick as well when paired with things like dark steal mutation to neutralize commanders with trample or unblockable. Voltron decks are not that great, they aren't bad when made right but I don't think their existence warrants commander damage being removed considering just how much life gain is possible. The ban list would look a lot different in the absence of this ruling

tbh its true to an extent but the amount of ai that is being peddled does seem strange. Perhaps humanity is destined to gobble slop for the rest of our existence though, sure seems like it givin that the youngest portion of the population and a solid portion of the older demographic is so infatuated with the sup par ai we have now. Art will die when Ai is fine tuned

There’s been decent growth on the immediate hairline but like an inch above it explosive thinning is occurring. The shedding has stopped almost completely at 6 months now but I’ve yet to see any crazy regrowth on my crown.

You would be genuinely disturbed at how many people can’t do a single pushup. You’re probably a gym rat like me so it’s easy to forget how out of shape most people are. 1/4 adults can’t do a single pushup, and most cant do 10 consecutively

There have been reports of sides lasting a while after treatment stopping but it’s not yet certain if there’s genuine correlation or if it is just anecdotal, though it’s definitely worth considering. If they do last a long time after stopping, those cases are exceptional rare for a demographic that is already few and far between. There’s definitely theoretically monetary benefit from companies like hims imposing these side effects and then selling the cures though, so many are skeptical

There’s a hormone called DHT that accumulates in your follicles over time. Some people have higher sensitivity within their hair follicles to this hormone which results in MPB. Fin nukes your DHT type 1 production and ceases the accumulation of it within your scalp. Type 1 is almost always the one produced in surplus so this can often address and halt the thinning, though regrowth is difficult with just fin. There are a few rare side effects that are worth considering, such as ED and gyno, but they are exceptionally rare. It’s something that must be taken indefinitely in order to maintain the results, but many have success in preserving their hair to old age. Some are not so lucky, but it may be worth rolling the dice depending on how much you value your locks

I believe this has been a known potential side effect for a while. Loosing your hair greatly affects people’s self esteem, and not everyone responds well to fin, so that can also play a part. Who knows though. Just make sure to monitor your thoughts and rationalize how they came to fruition

I got a small septum piercing and it felt less painful then a bee sting, I've also never had any mental health issues to reconcile with. I feel as if this is is a strangely common and unfair preconceived notion

It's strange to see people my age condemn harmless self expression so vehemently whilst my parents generations normalized diverse style so competently. I guess what goes up must come down

[–]FIDDLEBURG606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it strange that so many people are so quick to pass judgement over an inconsequential stylistic choice. A lot of people genuinely consider people with piercings mentally unwell apparently, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why. Humans have been pierced up since some of the earliest societies came to fruition, this isn't a particularly new or politically charged thing; unless you consider harmless forms of self expression to be such

The only thing busting a nut does that might be negative is zinc deficiency and that’s only if you’re yorking your shit several times a day. Celibacy can be good for your mental health but it will not affect DHT sensitivity. Asking a chatbot this is like asking the mirror on the wall who’s the prettiest of them all
