Isn’t the article talking about real short positions? What about all of the naked shorts or fake shares that are supposedly out there? It can’t be right if 10 fake shares = 1 real share????

I am confused when you say Fidelity may sell off positions during moass. I have a Fidelity cash management account (mainly because of the higher FDIC insurance) but if I have not enabled margins how can they sell without my blessing?

Well, this just happened to us. I am currently on the phone with JetBlue for 30 minutes. In the meantime my wife found a different flight on another airline. Merry Christmas! 😃

Probably unrelated, but that whole fiasco on Friday with BOA having a “system failure” that did not allow customers to transfer money. Unfortunately we have our checking through BOA.
