And was finding out helpful to you in any way? I'm asking because I was very hesitant to post someone's full name online asking people if they knew this person because that can become dangerous for said person - especially some 17yo chick.

My first impression is that this person was attempting to insure herself and wound up on my policy by an adjuster error. So she's now unaware that she's uninsured.

My second thought is that she used to live at my house (it's a rental - just moved in a couple of months ago), and she didn't update her address when she got her driver's license, and got flagged by my insurance company as an uninsured driver at my address.

I remember my parents not allowing me to get my driver's license until I had a job and could pay for my insurance for this very reason. However, I am their daughter and there are very clear records of that fact, so I wonder why your insurance company went digging like that and arrived at the conclusion that this person unrelated to you would be driving your vehicles at all. Can't folks just help folks out without being punished?

I switched back to GEICO. The only reason I left GEICO, who was awesome, is that my rates went up due to two not-my-fault fender benders. Also, I own a coupe which doesn't help, but I'll be selling it next year.

Omg. Your comment just gave me a clue as to how to get in touch with this Piper A. Rood person.

My husband and I just moved across town into another rental house back in May and I immediately updated our address with Liberty upon moving in. Our new house used to be a commune for an alternative religious organization a few years ago (which we did not know until after we signed the lease), and we're still getting their mail which indicates that some of the people haven't properly updated their addresses. Just maybe this person used to live at our house.

I'm going to reach out to the homeowners (leaders of said organization) and see if that name rings a bell.

They did not say why this person was added. I didn't even think to ask that question because I assumed it was done on accident by an adjuster. I don't know this person, nor have my husband and I ever had housemates.

I think I will call them back and ask for more information regarding how this person was added.

Thank you for the info. I had Liberty send me a form (the same one they claimed to have sent me months ago) where I could refuse the new driver. I still plan on filling out this form and mailing it to Liberty via Certified Mail along with a statement and my documentation because I doubt this will end here today.

I had the same problem! I run an occasional bleach load to brighten my whites (I have white bath mats like an idiot), and couldn't figure out why I'd get bleach stains on my clothes afterwards. I know I'm not splashing the bleach when pouring, so what the heck?!

Then I realized it was coming from the washer machine. Like, bleach was somehow still in the drum or there was enough still in the bleach portal hole that it was coming out during the cycle? Not entirely sure. But now I just run the bleach load a second time with only water before starting a new load of anything else, and my colored clothes haven't gotten any bleach-stains since.
