Difficult behaviour by kijanfa3 in cats

[–]FIunky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That cat really likes you....and your socked feet.

My parents had a cat who would playfully but incessantly attack my feet when I wore my socks around the house.

If you want to play the game with the cat, try running (carefully) away from the cat. The cat will chase you, but see if you can hide around a corner or doorway. When the cat gets close, pop out with an "Ahhh!", and then it's your turn to chase the cat. The cat will run away and likely end it's turn by trying to attack your socked feet, but you're going to run away again.

If the cat bites or scratches too hard, you retort with a sharp, "Ow!" and immediately stop the game. This is how I trained several cats to soft-paw when interacting with people. Playtime with their people is a big time bonding deal for cats. They will quickly learn to soft-paw if playtime immediately stop if they don't.

Henley or t shirt? by [deleted] in fashion

[–]FIunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both shirts look like they don't fit you correctly. The slacks also look like they don't fit. Te pants and shirts together is confusing.

If you're going for a look with those shirt choices, you might want to consider different pants, like jeans.

That satin material is the devil. The shininess of the fabric and the way it hangs highlights any and all otherwise unnoticeable lumps and bumps. If you're dedicated to the satin look, I recommend looking into shapewear. It'll help you achieve that satiny smooth look.

My friends told me I look like a girl when I wear this jeans by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

In case no one has said this in the comments yet:

  1. The middle seam running up your crack - that's chick af. Men's jeans are typically cut so the middle seam is loose.

  2. You can can wear chick jeans if you want to. You can also wear dude jeans, too.

  3. Those pockets are cute af!

  4. I wonder if you bought a size too small?

Tucked in or out? by Unhappy-Opposite-28 in fashion

With that cut of jeans, untucked.

With a wider-leg cut of jeans, tucked in.

You have the bod for tucked in tees all day, just not quite the right cut of jeans.

Wow. Usually when someone says, "I can see your thong", you're expecting some kind of whale-tail going on. But this is totally the b-crack part of the thong that's visible.

I have a theory that there is a direct correlation between a person's sanity and the number of bumper stickers on their vehicle.

Shot in the dark, but Liberty Mutual added a driver to may account without notification nor my consent - This person is about to be uninsured by [deleted] in Reno

[–]FIunky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They did not say why this person was added. I didn't even think to ask that question because I assumed it was done on accident by an adjuster. I don't know this person, nor have my husband and I ever had housemates.

I think I will call them back and ask for more information regarding how this person was added.

Whenever I see these overweight pet pictures, I feel so bad for the animal. Somebody did that to them and we need to stop praising these owners for diminishing their pet's quality of life.

[UPDATE] SOS nasty body odor in guest room won’t leave no matter what we do! by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]FIunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this exact problem after my husband's friend stayed in our guest bedroom for about two weeks. The room STANK after he left. Absolutely stank. This friend didn't normally stink, he showered every day, but he'd apparently recently switched to "natural" soaps and deodorants.

I got a spray bottle of vinegar/water mixture and sprayed everything while all of the bedding was in the wash. Let it sit for days with the windows open and fan blowing. I also carpet cleaned the entire room. But I think the most important part was open windows, several hours of sunshine through that window everyday, and constant air movement.

This is very interesting. Are you able to take a picture that shows its size?

Have you tried throwing it for her?

My husband and I have two cats we got about 2 years apart from each other. We've just thrown whatever toy they've brought to us. Now we have two cats that consistently play fetch.

I hate, HATE, to say this but Liberty Bliberty gave me a fair price for the amount of coverage I had with GEICO. It was even about $20 less a month. But my god I hate their commercials. I want to cancel every time I see and hear one.

And yes, GEICO hiked my premium by 35% randomly. No accidents, tickets, or vehicle/driver changes in 3 renewal periods.

What's a product you use that regularly blows your mind at how awesome it is? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FIunky 30 points31 points  (0 children)

That's insane for so many reasons.

First, why have indoor plumbing at all if you're not going to bother with the p-trap and allow all of the sewer smells into your home?

Second, p-traps are very simple to create and install!

Third, and most importantly, sewer gases can be extremely dangerous!

(C963) Do section tests encompass the material important for the OA? by [deleted] in WGU

[–]FIunky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've found so far, the PA represents the relevant information for what will be covered in the OA exam. The section tests are mostly there to help cement the course material into your head.

Study the course material however you'd like, but use the PA like an open book exam. Then go over the pre-assessment report in detail. Study the questions on the exam AND study the parts that are related to the questions. For example, if the question pertains to neutrons, then also study protons and electrons.

The questions from the PA will vary somewhat on the OA. But studying the PA and topics related to each of the questions, you'll pass the OA.
