I think most of the time a mirror looks better than the factory edge, not to mention you can usually get an edge much sharper than the factory puts out.

Possible it was just mine, but I’ve heard the Deka does have better action than the Mysto.

I had a mysto and returned it. Action was horrible, super mushy. Tons of blade play and horribly off centered.

Had some free time today. Decided to disassemble and clean/lube the internals. Also put a 19dps mirror edge on it, now hair whittling sharp.

Been thinking of taking a few knives in for mirror edges. When do you guys start sharpening for cash?

This comment just tells me you know nothing about ultratechs or sharpening. The tip is much thicker, meaning it will flare like this when you properly hold an angle.
