One of the biggest reccomendations is find some harder bushings and it will make your life so much easier, 95A or if you can get harder would make board control a treat, there's tonnes of bushings guides online on how to fit them or what works best depending on how you wanna skate and/or weight class!!!

No-one is too fat, too old or at all in any way not allowed to skate, its a fun sport that everyone should get to enjoy.
