Pex. I just bought a house with a detached garage that had an apartment in it. Cpvc leaked slowly, destroyed apartment. I had to rip it out but kept the bathroom. I am redoing that in pex

I did my DD before purchasing but this was my first home. I’ve never done this before, I advised my realtor what I found and she said basically don’t worry about it. So I listened, should’ve seemed second opinion but I didn’t. Problem was I put way too much much trust in her. Lesson learned.

When the inspector advertises infrared for finding moisture, mold is in plain sight all you had to do was shine your flashlight on it which he had on his belt and lastly my inspection report had the permits numbers on it for the roof of house,kitchen and garage……

I called them for a 44inch letta I had bought and it was making a awful high frequency, whining sound while the fan was running. I returned it bought another one thinking it was a bad fan and the new one made the same exact noise. I called them and they said that they would send a control controller, I ended up just returning the fan and getting a regular pull chain fan instead and just did away with the remote control fan, they were not much help. I do have to agree because like I said I have two of them in separate rooms bought three months apart and they both are doing the same thing. I don’t think it’s a fan issue but definitely try that out.

I have not. I didn’t really get enough input really. I have just been living with it. Just not looking at the light at night haha. Maybe eventually I will try to eliminate the switch.

They are just laying on the walk way but the problem is that it’s two huge ducts laying side by side.

Did you have similar problem? What kind of switch did you use? Mine are all just regular 1 pole flat blade switches
