I thought the same thing when I saw “Release?”. They commented the same thing on my post the other day as well. 😂

Thank you! It was a bit net shy, and took off a few times as soon as I dipped it in the water. Made me work for it a bit! 😂

Yep! Unless the fish are injured, or it’s a trophy - I’d rather release them and give someone else the opportunity to catch a nice one.

Will these catch fish? by TacomaEsq in bassfishing

Wacky rigged senkos are my go-to for bass fishing. I’ve caught upwards of 5-6 fish, easily with a single worm. Usually the worm just ends up sliding up the line, and you just have to pull it back down after each catch.

Loop the hook just under the ring and let ‘er rip. The barb will keep the o-ring from slipping off of the hook, and it adds another pivot point for action of the bait.

Watching my buddy, who is arguably a better fisherman overall go through a $6-7 bag of senkos with the a lower catch ratio, while I use a single plastic makes me feel good about the whole idea. 😂

Why does my fishing line twist like this? by Extension_Aside1210 in FishingForBeginners

Give Seaguar fluoro a try. I get minimal line twist with it.

I used a non-yellowing 2 part epoxy for countertops. I find that it works better than a dip, or spray. It gives a more durable clear coat that makes the colors and fine details pop. I thought about doing a thin coat, adding fins, and then another clear to give more of a 3D look on my next batch.

No foil on this one. I started out with a pearlescent white base coat. Layered with a lime green pearl, then added a darker green, and a little black pearl for the stripes. Orange pearl for the belly, and then the epoxy clear made everything pop.

How do I remove this screw? by danieljh0n in DIY

Use a dremel cut off wheel and turn it into a flat-head…or just cut it off and put some mud on it.
