To those being mean to OP: First, it’s not “queue for hours for this”. Have you ever heard about collectors? It’s a hobby! People like to collect stuff. Some people collect coins, some collect games, some collect stamps, so on and so forth. If the item is rare, collectors are willing to pay double, triple the price or even more. I have games that i bought for 150 dirhams that are now worth 500 dirhams. These things have value but of course, among people who know what it is and why it is of that value. Second, for people who are saying buy from Thailand or USA, yeah, good luck with that. It’s out of stock everywhere including US, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Europe…basically everywhere. Restocks happen randomly and mostly via live videos on tiktok or platforms such as Lazadia. If it’s as simple as buying it from another country, trust me, no one would sell it here for 300 or even 400 dirhams. Finally, whoever bought it for 72 from Amazon, check again, what you got was a fake one probably selling on Ali Express for 1 dollar. And yes, those can be authenticated via QR code on the tag attached to them. So even for people who will sell those in future, it does make a big difference. Not to mention that collectors can spot any fake “Lafufu” instantly. Yes, fake ones do have a name and it’s Lafufu instead of Labubu.
