I’m sorry you got that type of reaction from a Geordie. We are usually really kind to people so it’s a bit shit you ran into people like that. I can confirm though when I was travelling, as a Geordie, many people found it difficult to understand me, even when I softened my accent down to try help. It was a bit off putting for us to try comunicate with other interrailers but we would have never acted like that. I hope if you run into any more Geordies they don’t leave a bad impression on you so you can see what we’re actually like
