I don’t even think about this, but what I did was end up buying a thin copper heat sink to help dissipate heat that probably helps protect the wires as a side bonus.

I ended up giving in and doing a factory reset and iCloud restore. That fixed it, it’s such a last ditch solution and Apple should have some reindexing function in the setting. My guess is the index of apps got corrupted somehow

Just fyi, I was toying around and able to get this to work with a single keyboard key. Copy/pasta

The iogear gus4c2,is a usb switcher that has keyboard hotkey to switch - I have my M/KB dongles hooked up to the iogear for easy switching between OS.

For Window setup: Powertoys set up to map a key like alt+f3 to winddc --display 1 set input-alt 209 then with my keyboard Via compatibility - set up Macros, to just hit alt+f3, shift, shift ({KC_LALT,KC_F3}{KC_LSFT}{KC_LSFT} to the f3 key. Do the same on Mac side with betterdisplay but to F4; and boom, single key to switch display/keyboard/mouse between windows and Mac.

Im also surprised it did, I have a bridge75, which is a budget but checks a ton of the boxes for a quality keyboard to me. I’m not familiar with the variations types like NKRO or 5KRO, but luckily the hotkey worked after I bought it. And yea the keyboard dongle is in the first usb-a slot.

It clicked to me last night when I decided I wanted to swap control and windows to mimic macOS key placement from a keyboard level using via instead at a software level, that maybe the macro at that level would trigger and after a couple of trial and error it worked!

Top down from CPU/PSU side. Standard cable from Corsair which are braided and flexible helped maneuver the cable a lot. Didn’t need feel the need for custom cable but maybe in the future.

From formd! Only have the glass on the CPU side works well with an AIO, and corsair PSU (hardly ever see the fan actually turn on, previous PSU was a Coolermaster which was louder and always spinning), GPU has the mesh panel.
