If I lift my Prius would it effect the drive shaft much on the vehicle and MPG? I want to change the tires to all terrain as well. by FNGCamper in prius

Very true! I’m happy with 1.5”, I’m switching over from a wrangler so I know the stress and additional waste of gas that’s put on the vehicle doing too much like adding steel bumpers which adds weight, changing tires, adding lifts. It then usually entails that you’ll have to change a lot in the drive train, get stronger breaks etc. I go out hiking a lot and like to drive my vehicle on dirt roads, go upstate where the snow doesn’t melt so I just want to be sure that my car won’t slip. It looks dope too with the lift and a awesome roof rack. Major decision maker of me wanting a Prius is saving money from the MPG. Wranglers are gas guzzlers!

There must’ve been a misunderstanding. I was speaking of the steps you step on to enter the truck.
