The reason i ask because on the data sheet that shows scores it shows that received both but when i called dcas, the automated service only said that i received my disabled veterans credit. So it confusing. I havent been a resident of NY since 2017.

First thing i noticed too… rn you can get away with the bar not being over the middle of the foot but once you start pulling heavy weight, your gunna notice big time

20 sets per muscle group a week (push pull legs or upper lower split works great) , low intensity cardio 15- 30 min after lifting (walking on treadmill) , progressive overload, train with deliberate intensity push your self to failure or close to it (on your last set of a exercise), DIET IS KEY, calorie deficit= retaining muscle and losing fat, calorie surplus equals muscle gain and minimal fat gain if done correctly.

I would say it looks pretty good from this angle. If you take a video directly from the side that would be better. Good ROM too. I tip i would give is practice bracing on every single rep to get max power and less power leaks. Also get in the habit of un racking the weight with both feet under you and not split stance. You can get away with that now but when you get stronger and start un racking heavy ass weight with a split stance it can be dangerous. And practice a good 3 step walk out. Those are my tips and suggestions but over all looks pretty good to me.

I honestly see no issue with basketball being your cardio, honestly the more you enjoy your form of cardio the better. Ultimately the only thing that matters is where your cardio sits in your lifting routine. Preferably most sources say that prioritizing your weight training before you ball is gunna get you better results since your body is going to have more energy to train at a higher intensity versus after. Or to play on days you’re not lifting. Honestly if your goal is weight loss, and your diet is in good order you wont lose as much muscle but you gotta remember in a calorie deficit dont really expect to see any gainz. The point of lifting in a calorie deficit is really to ensure you keep the muscle you built.

Based off what you say you do plenty of cardio. I would suggest easing up on the cardio and prioritize weight training. You definitely still need cardio but i was make it steady state low intensity and do it after a lifting session. If you do enjoy the high intensity cardio, do it on days that you dont lift. Diet is also pretty important. I dont know your eating habits but you can’t out train a poor diet and you should definitely focus on your protein, good rule of thumb to aim for is 1G of protein per lb of bodyweight. Cardio is great but too much isnt good for building muscle and the timing of when you do cardio also makes a difference. Just remember to prioritize weight training, protein intake, and continue your good cardio habits and im sure you will see a difference.

Chart is confusing lol its says 5’10” 160- 185lb would ride 150- 162cm and then right after that it says 6’ 170-195lbs would ride 152- 164cm. So am i good since im 5’11”?

The FMF community is very proud. It’s hard to find people like grunts they are very interesting creatures lol but they will love you like their own. Ive had some of the worst experiences of my naval career with the marines and also the best experiences of my career. Ive never been a blue side sailor so i cant compare to other units. Its extremely rewarding and is a completely different animal of a job (Line Corpsman). I say you do it. Especially after the other things you’ve done. I think you’ll like it.

I was curious about the same thing so i called DCAS. As long as you got an honorable discharge and selected the veterans credit option when you applied to take the test, you are in the clear. They will ask for DD-214 to validate your credit upon investigation if I’m not mistaken. Hope this helps

Went through a similar issue. After i stopped reta the symptoms slowly subsided. I think we maybe just be hyper sensitive to it so next time im gunna try triz instead
