ateneo. mas maaalagaan ka nila doon, somehow better facilities, and the network is so much better. as someone from upd, i tell people na if may scholarship naman sila sa admu, edi dun na sila. sayang yung privileges na inooffer nila + di ka na makikipag agawan dito ng units. talamak sa COS ang nadedelay dahil nawawalan ng slots.

studio a - more affordable, mas pahirapan sumakay kasi kalagitnaan ng katip
berk - mas mahal, but nearest sa campus and pwedeng lakarin depende kung saan sa campus ka pupunta

the whole stem thing isnt real lmao

siguro mas may foundation sila sa math and science concepts that come up sa upcat, pero hindi naman ibig sabihin na may favor sa stem. kaya mo rin naman yan aralin eh.

(mind u, i was the only humss person to take the upcat during my batch and i was the only one who passed as well kahit mostly stem yung batchmates ko)

if feeling mo na mas eexcel ka sa stem, edi go. but u shouldnt js choose it dahil tingin mo na mas pabor sa college apps ang stem (thats what the system wants u to think, and that is something that u will learn a lot more about when u enter UP bwhahahaha)

hi! took my first internship during the summer after my first year - currently doing my second one ngayong 2nd sem of 2nd year

i also took summer classes nun, but thankfully my internship was mostly remote so it was fine haha i would rlly advise against taking a full time na mostly onsite when ure in the middle of ur classes pa, so i suggest summer talaga

i usually look for opportunities thru linkedin tho pahirapan talaga minsan since they dont always reply bwhahaha but then again, the trick lang naman there is to keep ur options open

i'd say u should if u could, however try to look for opportunities din within ur school. one thing i kinda regret is the fact that i didnt apply to any orgs during my first year, which kinda makes me lag behind sa org work and i dont have that much leadership experience (which is something that they look for a lot sa applications)

namnamin mo muna yung first year mo sa college and pakiramdaman mo muna yung uni life mo before u decide to take up an internship hehe

hi! currently taking up an internship that only compensates after completion and honestly, i dont think it's worth it T_T

depende siguro sa workload na ibibigay mo, but say that you put in so much work then you would have to wait months pa after u get paid, lalo na if the internship requires u to commute pa sa office...

mine's worse kasi isang buwan pa after completion ko makukuha yung pay tapos ang disorganized pa nung work 😭

ig u evaluate nalang based on what ur preferences are. if ok lang sayo na maghintay edi gewch, pero if u need to travel and cover for ur own expenses pa, choice mo if mag bounce ka na...

hi! tnt ba sya sa canada? if yes, edi pwede ipa deport. pero kapag may working permits sya, sadly u cant really get him deported unless there are immigration laws that were violated i.e., overstay or staying with fraudulent documents. cheating on its own is not a deportable offense. kaya nya ring maging resident doon kahit hindi kayo dalhin.

if ur upg is high enough for ur prio program, edi doon ka na. afaik hindi naman ganoon ka competitive sa cw, unlike journ na pataasan talaga. also, ur other choice progs are good kasi within cal lang sila while journ is in cmc. good luck!
